We are pleased to present the revamped website of Bekuplast, a company that is one of the European market leaders specialising in the design, manufacture and sale of plastic containers, trays and pallets for transport and storage. This project is an important part of our TYPO3 portfolio and represents yet another successful TYPO3 implementation, demonstrating how our solutions support the modern image of industrial companies.

Our partnership with Bekuplast
The scope of our work involved redesigning the existing website in line with the brief. We had to adhere strictly to the brand’s visual identity whilst reflecting its character – modernity and orderliness. We utilised the design systems, icon sets and photographs provided by the client, ensuring compliance with SEO. This project enriches our TYPO3 portfolio and serves as an example of an advanced TYPO3 implementation, in which functionality, aesthetics and usability have been combined into a coherent whole.
The design of the new website for Bekuplast, aimed at refreshing the company’s image and better aligning it with modern standards, proceeded in several key stages. Here are the steps we took to ensure the collaboration ran smoothly and the final result was as good as possible:
1. Analysing and understanding the brand and the company’s needs
The first step was to gain a thorough understanding of Bekuplast’s current brand identity, its history, values, objectives and product range. It was also important to understand current industry trends and customer expectations. We held discussions with company representatives to gain a thorough understanding of their needs and expectations regarding the new website. We analysed the current website and assessed what works well and what needs improving. We
identified the target groups and their preferences.
2. Competitor research and market analysis
To stand out from the competition, we analysed the websites of other companies in the transport and warehousing sector. This enabled us to identify design trends and pinpoint elements that could be implemented to make the Bekuplast website more modern and user-friendly.
3. Defining the website’s objectives and functions
We have endeavoured to ensure that the new website meets not only the needs of users, but also the company’s strategic objectives. It was important to:
- To make it easier for customers to access information about products (containers, trays, pallets).
- Introducing sections dedicated to specific industries, with descriptions of tailored solutions.
- Optimising the site for SEO to improve its visibility in search engines.
- Enabling customers to submit enquiries via the contact form or specialised tools.
4. Visual design and UX (User Experience)
The website was intended to reflect the company’s modernity and innovation through a clean, minimalist design. The steps involved:
- Creating preliminary wireframes illustrating the website’s structure.
- Selecting a colour scheme consistent with the company’s visual identity (using distinctive colours and graphic elements).
- Intuitive navigation to help customers find the information they need (e.g. quick access to the product catalogue and industry-specific solutions).
5. Technical development and implementation
At this stage, the mock-ups were transformed into a fully functional website. Key points to note are that:
- We utilised modern technologies (e.g. responsive design), ensuring the website works well on both computers and mobile devices.
- We ensured fast page loading times, which is crucial for SEO and user convenience.
- We integrated the TYPO3 content management system (CMS) so that the company can update the information on the website itself.
6. Testing and optimisation
Once the website had been built, we tested it thoroughly to ensure it worked correctly on various devices and browsers. The testing included:
- The functionality of all forms, buttons and links.
- Checking loading speed and SEO optimisation.
- Analysing whether the website meets accessibility requirements (WCAG).
7. Implementation
Once testing was complete, the website was fully implemented and launched. It was important to optimise it for search engines in order to increase its online visibility.
8. Continuous monitoring and updating
The website is regularly monitored for traffic, user interaction and performance. Ongoing content updates and optimisations enable its continuous improvement and adaptation to the changing needs of the market.
As a result, Bekuplast’s new website reflects the advanced technology, innovation and trust that the company has built up since 1985, whilst strengthening its position as a leader in the European market.
